General information about the online store

AutoGear Oy / Vaihteistokauppa.fi (VAT FI20391643) delivers products to personal customers over 18 years old and to business customers. Measurements, weight and performance information presented on the website and in the attached files, as well as other information containing technical and other details, are provided without commitment. All rights to the content of the online store belong to AutoGear Oy. We reserve all rights to make changes.
 

Prices

If the purchase price of the order-only-product changes significantly after the order, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

We reserve the right to cancel the order for obvious price mistakes. This means possible pricing mistake of the product in the online store in such a way that the price of the product deviates so significantly from the correct price of the product, so that the customer is considered to understand the mistake. The customer decides whether he wants delivery with corrected conditions and prices.
 

Registration and user responsibility

Natural and legal persons can register in the online store by filling out the registration form and choosing a username and password. Registration is free of charge. If necessary, we can refuse registration.

Ordering

Products are generally ordered through the Vaihteistokauppa.fi shopping cart. All orders are confirmed by email, which states the price of the order, shipping costs and the ordered products (the order can also be checked by logging into our online store). In order to receive an order confirmation, you must provide an email address when ordering. The customer commits to the delivery conditions in force with each order.

Coupon codes can only be used once per order. Different coupons cannot be combined.
 

Payment methods

  • Online payment: Banks (in Finland), Cards (Visa Electron, Visa, Mastercard), Mobilepay, Paypal
  • Paypal Payment request: We send payment request via Paypal and send the products after they are paid.
  • Cash / card: at our store in Forssa, Finland you can pay with cash and the most common payment cards.

 
Delivery times and methods

We send products every day. We send the whole order at once, but in exceptional cases the products may be delivered in several batches. The availability information in our online store is usually very accurate. However, if the product has temporarily run out, the delivery time may be longer. In this case, we will contact you by email.

We usually send products with Posti, Matkahuolto and PostNord and outside Finland also with UPS and DHL. Estimate delivery times with Posti:

  • Finland: 1-3 business days
  • Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania: 1-3 business days
  • Sweden / Norway: 2-5 business days
  • Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (except Canary Islands): 3-8 business days
  • Other countries in Europe: 2-7 business days
  • Outside Europe: 6-14 business days

Public holidays may affect the delivery time. We cannot influence the delivery time if the delay in delivery is due to a third party error, strike or natural disasters. We are not responsible for indirect costs that may be caused by delays in deliveries. In Finland small deliveries for which Posti's or Matkahuolto's normal parcel delivery has been chosen as the delivery method will be sent without notice as Posti Pikkupaketti, which will be delivered to the mailbox in basic delivery.

You can also pick up the products from our car repair shop (Lepistönkatu 18, 30100 Forssa, Finland), in which case delivery costs are not charged. Before picking up, confirm the availability of the product by calling or wait for an email confirmation. We're open from Monday to Friday 8AM - 4PM.
 

Shipping costs

Delivery costs for orders are determined by the chosen delivery method and the delivery weight and package size. You can check the delivery costs after selecting the payment and delivery method in the shopping cart.

When ordering from the online store, delivery costs include handling and packaging costs. A processing fee of 10 euros is added to phone orders made by personal customers. A small order fee of 5 euros is added to orders under 20 euros.

The normal pricing or free delivery of the delivery methods is not valid for products that require special freight or handling, for example if the order contains products that are too heavy, large, or that require special handling. If the order includes such products, we will contact the customer before delivery to choose a suitable shipping method.

If the customer does not pick up the ordered product and the shipment is returned to us, we will send an invoice to the customer for the delivery and processing costs of the order.
 

Return and exchange policy

The products have a 14-day right of exchange and return, with the exception of oils and liquids. Business customers have a 30-day exchange and return right. The right of return only applies to unused products in the original packaging that can be re-selled.

Complaints

The products have a guarantee for manufacturing and material defects. The warranty period varies by product and is defined in the product information. The warranty period starts from the product delivery date.

We ask that all complaints related to the order or delivery be sent within seven (7) days of receiving the order. We only handle complaints in writing.
