Exchange parts and returns

Please notify us in advance about any returns via email at kauppa@autogear.fi. Include your customer number, name, address, phone number, bank account number, and a copy of the order confirmation with your return (products purchased from the online store will be refunded via Paytrail / Paypal in the same way the order was originally paid).

Products have a 14-day exchange and return right, except for oils, liquids and electrical parts. The return right only applies to unused and resalable products in their original packaging. The product must remain essentially unchanged and retain its value until the customer decides to keep it. A product is not considered used if the customer has handled it only to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functionality.

We do not accept returns of "order only" products that were specially ordered for the customer, discontinued products, or products that are in the process of being discontinued. Incomplete, unclear, dirty, or otherwise unsuitable returns will be sent back to the sender at the customer’s expense without prior notice.

For product returns, the shipping costs are paid by the sender unless otherwise agreed (e.g., defective product or delivery error). The item must be sent directly to our store. We do not pick up packages from collection points.

You can return an unused and resalable product even after the 14-day return period, but in this case, we will refund 50% of the product's purchase price.

 

Returning a core part (exhange products)

When you buy a rebuilt part, you must send the old part to us in exchange so we can rebuilt it again to the next customer. The part must be in such condition that it can be rebuilt again.

Core charge amount depends on the product, please ask it before ordering. We will send you an invoice or Paypal Payment request of the core part and this must be paid before we send the order. Core charge will be fully refunded when the core part has been returned to us. Indicative core charges:

  • Transmissions: 500-1500 €
  • Transfer cases: 500 €
  • Differentials: 500 €
  • Valvebody, ZF: 700 €
  • Valvebody, others: 400 €
  • Torque converters, MB: 400 €
  • Torque converters, others: 200 €
  • Clutch 0B5: 150 €
     

The exchange part must be refurbishable, meaning the casing/frame must be intact. The parts must not be rusty, melted, or burned. Clean the part externally and drain the oil. Pack the part in its original or similarly sized packaging.
