VW Transporter / Crafter differential spider gear wearing
Transporter / Multivan
Volkswagen Transporter / Multivan with DSG automatic transmission does not move? The gear stick can still work and the gears are shown in the display. The problem is propably caused by worn out spline sleeve (spider gear) on the right side of the differential.
We perform these repairs often at our workshop AutoGear in Forssa, Finland. For do-it-your-own-folks we have a repair kit, which includes all needed parts to fix the problem (spider gear for 0BH/0BT transmission, front cover, sealing caps, seals and oil pipes with sealings). We also recommend to change the oil filters at the same time.
- Repair kit 0BT differential
- Oil filter 0BT DSG Transporter inner
- Oil filter 0BH / 0BT DSG line filter
Crafter
Volkswagen Crafter vans with manual transmissions often have the same problem. They need a right side spider gear for 0AX transmission. We have available a repair kit, which includes all needed parts to fix the problem (spider gear for 0AX transmission, sealing cap and oil seals).
