Tips & Tools For The Repair
Replace all Transmission Cooler Lines at the same time to prevent system contamination
Apply Penetrating Oil to corroded or stuck cooler line fittings to help break them loose
Disconnect the cooler lines using a Flare Nut Wrench and drain the transmission fluid into a Drain Pan
Consider installing an In-Line Transmission Filter on the return line to prevent system contamination and extend the life of the transmission
Measure the amount of old transmission fluid drained to determine how much new Transmission Fluid to add
Use a Funnel to prevent spills when refilling the transmission
